FLUX: The Impermanent Order of Chaos video
Vermont artist Mallory Breiner approached me to document her art show, “FLUX: The Impermanent Order of Chaos,” an art happening that features sculptural installation and mixed-media drawing. The show has a performance element that involves audience participation. The video was produced for Mallory’s graduate school art application. A short documentary was also produced for sentimental value.
Mark was a pleasure to work with and a great asset to my project. Though the artistic vision that I presented to him was unusual and experimental, Mark brought to it an intelligent energy, dedication, and unyielding professionalism. As the event I was planning neared, he offered to meet or discuss as many times as needed to ensure that we were prepared to get the best footage. This attention to detail carried over to the editing as well, yielding a fluid, artful and memorable piece. I couldn’t have been happier with the resulting film, and would recommend Mark to anyone!
